Small schools- Research shows that students are more successful in small school environments. Students receive more attention and are able to form strong relationships with their teachers in small schools. Their size allows teachers to work closely with parents and students to develop individualized learning plans that address the learning style of the student, resulting in a a more beneficial learning experience for all involved.

- Examples of Education Reform
Sixty-five percent of new teachers and 50 percent of veterans are interested in "working at" a school "run and managed by teachers," according to a recent Public Agenda survey. What many teachers don't know is that they can run and manage a school. We tend to assume that teachers must be employees. But thanks to some teachers in Minnesota and Wisconsin, teachers can work at a school which they run along with their fellow teachers.

- New Online High School Offering Minnesota Teens Webcams, Laptops, and Freedom Holds Demonstration on July 18 in Burnsville
Henderson, Minnesota (PRWEB) July 13, 2005 -- Up until now, Minnesota teens who wanted the convenience of an online school had to enroll in one with traditional classes and curriculum. But now they have another option; they can attend EdVisions Off-Campus High School and choose what they want to learn. Based on the program used at Minnesota New Country School, famous for its 1995 discovery of deformed frogs in a local pond, EOCHS will offer teens around the state the option of designing their own projects, carrying them out at home or in the community, and sharing them with others via webcam, laptop, and live meetings in different areas of the state.

Hope Study
The Hope Study was designed to assist schools in pinpointing their strengths as well as areas for improvement, and help them design proactive plans to improve their practices and procedures with an eye towards enhancing and enriching the student experience. Using these surveys, schools can drive continuous improvement through the organization in a way that directly benefits their students.
