Playing at the Duluth Homegrown Music Festival

Leo is a talented EOC student who plays in a band named "My Dads Calling." Recently one of the group's gigs was at the Duluth Homegrown Music Festival. The Music Resource Center (MRC) in Duluth has been instrumental in helping the young band find and set up gigs. Leo appreciates the support they provide for aspiring musicians. A couple of the music instructors from MRC even stepped on stage with the band for Homegrown as one of the regular band members was unable to attend. Leo sings and plays guitar for the band. According to Leo, although they have played many gigs in the past, Leo really enjoyed the Homegrown Festival due to the community and animals that are there. The band is looking forward to future gigs such as Sidewalk Days and a show at Sacred Heart.
